Cloudy orange with a finger of yellowed head. Decent retention and great lacing.
Bigly aroma of creamed orange candy, some forest floor and other general dankness.
The orange becomes pithy and bitter in the taste (rather than creamy and sweet). Restrained dankness shows as well, along with an element I marked as “Chinese food” in my notes. Not exactly soy sauce. Maybe pan fried broccoli? There’s a hint of nut, too, but no sign of the ABV.
Creamy, full feel with lively carbonation.
A decent beer. More bitter than I expected from the nose, but that keeps it very drinkable. Much more easy going than many triple IPAs.
