Pours an effervescent ebony with a thumb of mocha colored head. Average lacing & head retention
S: Chocolate, caramel & coconut
T: Toasty coconut, chocolate, dryness up front, a hint of coffee. All of the above as this beer warms up, some vanilla coming through too. Finishes with toasty coconut, chocolate & little dryness, plus caramel
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
A solid Imp Pastry Stout, flavors all seem natural, a sipper for sure. Had higher hopes, but don't think much of coconut, chocolate cookies of that ilk either
