Our homage to King Arthur; a big, rich and bold barley wine.
We were heavy handed with the English hops using large amounts of Fuggles, Bramling Cross and Olicana. Golden syrup gives this beer an added complexity.

Just too much for me, I may like it now though, I had this a while ago.

Hazy amber colour, slight head that disappears and only leaves a ring. Smell is a malty fruity and slightly soy sauce. I think the soy bit is what I didn't like the first time. Taste is the same, with the soy sauce gone. Very rich, very malty, dark fruit come through. Feel is quite smooth. Overall could be better, especially the smell, but happy I like it now.
