Copenhagen 5/2 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Bliúecan with a detailed drawing of a fiery warrior with an inner glow. Might be the mighty protector of Crete.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as a thin and unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and a bit candy-like odor mingling with a potent scent of alcohol. Dark malts, milk chocolate and brown sugar. Sharp alcohol. A little metallic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a little bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A satisfying bag of candy.
