Poured from 330mL bottle into a wine glass. Best by 6/8/23.
Appearance: rich amber-brown hue with a bit of haze and a finger of frothy dark-tan foam. Head retention is a little lacking but otherwise it's pretty.
Smell: malty with a bit of toffee and light notes of raisin and tobacco. The composition is nice, but the volume could stand to be turned up a little bit.
Taste: sweet with toffee, raisin, tobacco, a little cherry; a very nice combination indeed. Nicely complex; a well-done quad.
Mouthfeel: lightish body with a good carbonation and a rather light-bodied creaminess. Could do with a little more legs.
Overall: despite the slight let-down of the mouthfeel, this is a darn tasty quad in my opinion.
