Pours with a weak head that disappeares. Delicious yeast, banana bread nose. Way too much carbonation kills the flavour, which only comes out in the afternotes. A bit watery, but a pleasant tripel attempt.

Poured from 330mL bottle into a wine glass. Best by 7/29/23.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a slight haze and a thin layer of white foam atop. Not too shabby.
Smell: rather on the sweet and boozy side. A little bit of the orchardy quality I like in a tripel, but the aroma leaves me a bit apprehensive about the taste.
Taste: quite sweet and boozy, moreso than even a tripel is supposed to be. There's a good apple/pear quality here (some may call it an off-flavor but I like in a tripel) which redeems the treacly booze a bit, though.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation that comes out relatively creamy, but a little wanting.
Overall: a reasonable if imperfect tripel -- not the worst thing out there if you are a fan of the style.
