Collaboration with Grumpy Old Men Brewing
Bitter Rivals is a collaboration with Grumpy Old Men Brewing in Blue Ridge. We started with the same base recipe, co-created by our Brewmasters Cody Krieger & Brooks Wade. Brewed using the same hops, and same yeast. but each brewed with our own slight spin on it. Enjoy this very mildly bitter, but heavily dry hopped and balanced New England IPA with a touch of lactose for sweetness.

Drinking this at The Cartecay River Brewery in Downtown East Elijay Georgia.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks hazy, opaque, orange, yellow with a nice white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells citrusy, grapefruit, orange, vanilla.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium thin for the style.
Overall a very nice example of a New England IPA that I might order again.
Cheers!
