Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 10/20/21.
Appearance: pale golden hue with just a dash of haze and a finger of frothy eggshell foam. For a blonde ale, seems quite legit.
Smell: very light malt aroma with a more pronounced hop element than usually present in this style. The hops are rather herbal in character. I like it, although it is a bit one-note.
Taste: again, a rather light malt character with an earthy, herbal, and even perhaps a bit of a piquant hop character. I like it, although I feel like the hops are almost sour or something.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I like it. It's got a more interesting hop character than most blonde ales, but I feel like it stays within the style's guidelines.
