Pours a dark amber with fine, tan head.
Smell is malty and bready with some floral hints. Notes of caramel, citrus and hints of leather and wood.
Taste is malty and bready, very crisp and clean. Notes of chestnuts, caramel, citrus and hints of wood and leather. Moderate bitterness and some floral and fruity hints to round it out.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, I love that the staple beer for a new, hyped brewery is a Vienna lager. I'm even more stoked that it's damn good!
