The darker golden body is almost amber, building a short but puffy white head that settles to a creamy ring leaving spotty lacing.
Tangy and a bit caramelly, it's otherwise smoothly frothy and minimally bitter. While better than Westbrook's helles, it's similarly not fully adherent to style. Though exhibiting a touch of honey, there's almost a hefe yeastiness in the background.
Nowhere near the bar that Wooly Pig has set and spoiled me with.
