Had the Irish Red at Puff Belly's brewpub, D'Iberville, on draft into tumbler.
Pours deep amber-red with clarity and 1-finger light-tan head, with good retention and leaving splotchy lace down the glass. Nice malty aroma and a little grassy hops off pour, and malty aroma continues. Begins mildly sweet, over smooth malt, with a little hop bite to balance, then a bit of fruit joins, and all of that carries into a bit bitter finish.
Excellent rendition of an Irish Red, malty but balanced.
