An explosive bottle, as I flipped the top open and got a sud shower. Pours out a very light straw yellow with a pure white, bubbly head. The head it self was actually kind of chewy. There's some nuttyness to the nose, and hops are there too. Otherwise, not much. The beer itself has some nice character going on, not as light as I initially thought it would be, but give it a break, it is a gluten free beer. It's not for the rest of us on here who can have any beer. There's a little bit of a harsh aftertaste that stays with you, and although there are hops here, it's not hops, more like tannin, but not as dry. My ratings above reflect this as a style of gluten free beer, and compared to all the others I have had, this is the best one yet.
