Served from the can in a Samuel Adams sensory pint glass.
Pours a cloudy hickory topped by a finger of dirty khaki foam. The nose comprises toasted biscuit, light cracked wheat, mild cocoa powder, clove, and grass. The taste brings in more of the same, the cocoa coming across almost like bitter baking chocolate, and some orange pith jumping in to muddy things up a bit. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a mildly scratchy feel. A decent dunkelweizen, though one whose Belgian origins may be holding it back a bit.
