Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a non-stemmed glass.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Thin off white head that becomes an island and thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma of ginger, coffee, and a whiff of coconut.
Taste is sour, with flavors of coffee and ginger, and the coconut emerging late. Lactose in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Creates a buzz in the mouth, along with a tight, clean finish. Okay carbonation.
Unusual combination for a kettle sour, but it works because of its clean flow.
