Rich lightly sweet toasted malt flavor defines this German Style Dunkel (dark lager bier). It has a nice round body, and just a kiss of noble hops to balance.

Poured from a growler, on day 2 of being opened, into a standard pint glass.
Update 2/21/2022 This time from a 500mL bottle into my weizen glass. Only updating on appearance, everything else is consistent plus I just smoked a cigar so my taste is a bit off.
L- Dark but not black, is a dark reddish brown but still transparent. Some lively carbonation and a 1 finger head forms on the pour. The head fades relatively quickly to a thin cap covering the whole beer which forms some lacing.
S- Smell is awesome, sweet dark malts at the forefront with traditional smelling hops in the background and the lager yeast is present too, in a very good way complex, yet traditional at least in smell.
T- at the very forefront the taste is smooth, and lager-y/easy to drink with some mild bitterness. The flavor then transitions into a smooth almost creamy roasty caramel malt profile. No micro brew off tastes in this batch.
F- Creamy and easy to put down good for nighttime, or not. I cant really think of a time when this wouldnt hit the spot. Its seasonable to an extent and classic enough that most would enjoy. If you like roasty malty profiles this could be one for you, bit with the smooth lager quality as well.
O- very rounded nothing to complain about and the aroma is legendary. Nothing weird about it, but much more complex than a standard lager and more approachable and traditional than most IPAs out there. Very good.
