Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival 1.5 fingers of fine white head sat on top of a hazy golden yellow body. Some lacing is left, but not the best.
Aroma on this batch is carrying a bit of sulfur or just something a bit off. Behind that there is some light banana and bubble gum with a light wheaty presence.
Taste brings redemption. Sulfur is all gone and there's a nice big wave of sweet banana bread just like I want from a hefe. Slight citrus comes through but it hides in the very back even behind esters.
Feel is full bodied with a mouthcoating maltiness and long finish. Decently carbonated but nothing excessive. Decent.
Overall, I remember this being better, and with the off aroma, it becomes a bit overwhelming. The flavor and feel are good, but it maintains the pattern of heaviness.
