Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival a 2 finger head was present on top of a nicely clear golden body. Head retention is amazing and seemingly infinite and nice la ing forms. Beautiful.
Aroma is quite herbal, grassy, and generally hoppy with a light malty, almost corny, sweetness. It comes off as very clean.
The flavor follows the aroma and is even more hoppy with a very present herbal bitterness. The malty presence sticks around in the finish balancing things out.
Despite the big flavors the feel is quite crushable. I will say it's a bit too full to be calling it crispy, but it is very easy to drink. The foamy maltiness makes for quite the full mouthful, however there is a definite astringency.
Overall this is a pretty solid pilsner, however it is coming off as a bit too hoppy for my taste, but maybe that's just me.
