Hiatus Brewing Company

Store front brewpub in small strip shopping center on the main drag on the southwest side of town. Straight bar opposite the entrance seats about 10 with some tables about the room and on the sidewalk patio out front. 14 beers on tap. Friendly bartender. Solid Cobb Salad.

Hiatus Brewing Co. is located in a nondescript strip mall, right on the street, so at least you don't have to drive around looking for it like you have to do with some of the places that are in industrial complexes. It's clean and bright with a colorful interior and a fairly wide open, uncluttered space. Every beer that I sampled was good, and some were great. The variety was exceptional with over a dozen choices. The food is basic stuff (nachos, wings, tacos, flatbreads) but it's a little more interesting than usual, and very well done at respectable prices. It's definitely worth a shot if you're in the area.

 

My first visit. Nice airy place in a very small strip mall. Good and varied selection of beer. Service was very good. Food was the standout. We had flat bread pizzas that were very, very unique and tasty (I had Thai) and then finished it off with a house made sampling of spiced nuts. Perfect!
