Pours a cloudy, carmine red coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light doughy malt and sweet and tart raspberries. Taste is a great balance between light doughy malt and a strong, vibrant, natural, sweet and tart raspberry presence. Finishes with a medium tartness and some raspberries lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While this does seem a little one-dimensional, it certainly does what ir does very well, making for a very pleasant fruited sour with a great, quite bright and vibrant raspberry pesence that doesn't feel artificial at all, with a great balanance of lightly sweet and medium tart notes. Certainly makes for a rather refreshing and easy-drinking brew, that's perfectly suited to the summer months.

one of the best sours I've enjoyed
mouth feel is not thin, not thick, just right
almost creamy for a wheat
smell is natural raspberry not overly sweet
taste is sour but not overly so
