Pours a dark brown with a 1/2F head and very light lacing.
Smells and tastes of toasted malt, chocolate, coffee and marshmallow with a lightly bitter and boozy warm finish.
Medium heavy body with very light carbonation. Lush, syrupy mouthfeel.
This is a nice sipper that nicely balances its bitter and sweet bits.

Canned on 10/16/2024 - Dominant aroma of dark chocolate is enticing. Pours with a small head that fades fairly quickly to a thin ring of foam. Taste follows suit, rich, decadent chocolate with a slight hint of marshmallow. Slightly sweet, but not cloyingly so. The 9% ABV is detectable but pretty well hidden for the most part. A solid imperial stout and worthy of a try.
EDIT: I'm drinking a can that was canned on 9/25/2025 - it still tastes great but the alcohol is definitely more noticeable and produces a slight burn in the throat. Most definitely a sipper!
