I visited Cervecería del Callejón the other day with my wife. It's tucked town an alleyway in Old San Juan with not much in the way of signage, but it's definitely worth seeking out. They have a cool taproom with weathered wood tables, some games, and a big projector screen on the wall. Place was almost empty on our visit (admittedly a Monday). The vibe in here is still pretty cool though. They have food - Korean inspired small plates, basically. My wife and I had the dumplings, which were very good indeed.
There were 5 beers available on tap on my visit, brewed in house: two IPAs, a pale, a stout and a dark saison. Interesting choice there! The hazy IPA is decent, if not wonderful; the same goes for the traditional IPA. The dark saison, however, has some light spicing and is very good indeed and well worth a try. Service was good, and I might even stop in again before we leave Puerto Rico.
