Pours a cloudy light caramel color. A wisp of a head quickly fizzles out.
The nose opens clean with light notes of bready malts, toast, grass and lemon. It then opens up to emit aromas of sweet biscuit, a touch of caramel, fruit, floral spices and wood.
In the taste, notes of dry toasted and bready malts, and cracker are balanced by generously spiced peppery and grassy hops. Moderately bitter with notes of mineral water, lemon, orchard fruit, and earthy woodsy spices.
Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Finish is likewise crisp, dry and mostly clean. Carbonation is lively.
Very easy to drink and tasty, however, it's a bit light for the style; maybe it's really a Helles Bock? Nevertheless, I'd have again.

"Maibock style lager, brewed with 100% NY state grown ingredients"
Tall can direct from the source in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Pours light, medium straw in color, about a medium haze, all under a loose and departing mini cap.
Some light grassy notes on the sniff.
Light, crisp and easy drinking...notes of more grass, and light toasty malts...quality lager from Crown Heights "only brewery".
