Pours with a creamy head that holds up. Color is a light hazy amber .
The initial flavor has some malt to it, a light sweetness. I expected it to be a sweeter denser ale because of this - but it isn’t! The ‘amber’ flavor fades immediately to a crisp moderately bitter New England ale that is easy and really pleasant to drink. 5.5 ABV is great for drinking a couple over the evening. This was a new ale for me and I’ll be buying more. A real plus for Geary’s!

From a 12 oz. can stamped 11271. Sampled May 29, 2022.
The appearance is a slightly cloudy but totally hazy looking golden tone under a lasting white head. Lacing.
Bright citrus and fruity aromas greet my nose with a lower profile cereal grain. Maybe pineapple. Maybe mango.
About a medium mouthfeel.
The flavor starts sweet and then it becomes more butter but not with an emphasis on the pineapple and mango. It is more of a traditional biting bitterness to finish things off.
