Billowing tan foam, creamy texture, a nicely russet-toned doppelbock.
Aroma of dark bread and toasted blackened crusts. Nutty caramel, slight metallic twang.
Big caramelized sugars and melanoidins. Toasty bread crust, caramel coffee candy, dry tobacco leaf in the finish.
Creamy and full-bodied texture, chewy. Carb level is a bit light but it accentuates the full body somewhat. Light balancing bitterness in the finish.
Overall this is a good Polish Doppelbock, we don’t see many here in the states.
