A classic German pilsner from our brewmaster who is a professor of brewery operations & management at a major Texas university. Packed with honey and floral malt notes, this beer delivers classic hop notes in every sip. There is a special drinkability that comes from the long-aging and lagering process that makes this beer melt in your mouth. Class is in session.

12 fl oz can:
A bit starchy. Hop profile doesn't seem traditionally grassy/German Noble or spicy/Saaz/Czech. Has muted crackery malt flavours. Not really herbal or honeyed. Could be better attenutated.
A shrug of a stab at a pilsner. At grocers in Houston, this sits on the same shelves as Live Oak's pilsners...I know which one I'm buying next time.

Look: Pours a very light, almost tinted gold water with a handsome all white head that has good retention and solid side glass lace.
AROMA: Hmm, pretty good scents for a Pils. Aromatic herbal and floral delicately spiced hops.
taste: Bittering and drying hop flavor. Pretty nice.
On the thin side, but not the tyoical mundane pils. The delicately spiced hops make for a pleasent and enjoyable Pils.
