This Big Belgian Beer is an homage to the beers of the Old World. Full bodied and well balanced with notes of raisin, dates, fig, toffee, and brown sugar. The spicy floral notes of the Belgian yeast are distinct but balanced, and the fruity tones play well with the malty sweetness on the tongue. With all its complexities up front, this beer finishes easy and is built for savoring.

Had some of this beer poured into a small glass at our local WOB. Clear amber color with brief white head and little lacing. Spice sweet fruit smell and taste. Pears and caramel apple. Dark raisin. Feel is a bit thin. Overall a good beer.
