A- Mostly clear and a solid cherry red/pink coloration, with orange/deep copper hues. There is plenty of carbonation, with many large bubbles rising in swift fashion among the many columns created at the bottom of my glass. The head is mainly white, but does have that pink tinge to it, starts off about two fingers in thickness, but is fizzy and does settle down quickly to a patch film plus a decent ring. Lacing seems to be somewhat watery, but there is a small patchwork of foam clinging to the inside of the glass.
S- Mild overall, with some crisp tart cherry aroma, followed by perhaps some Pils malt sweetness. There are some muted grassy/raw barley grain, and a finish that is pretty clean too, with minimal hop bitterness present.
T- Crisp and clean overall, with mild cherry sweetness noticeable. Outside of this, there really isn't much to report...subtle floral/fruity notes such as orchard apple/peach alongside the cherry.....maybe some pithy kernel at the end.
M/O- Mouthfeel is light in body and the carbonation is fairly aggressive, leaving the palate with a quick explosion of flavor followed by a cleansing sensation. With that said, this is a highly drinkable Kolsch and makes a good hot weather quencher. I'd probably have it again, when I want something I don't need to think about.
