I found this one at Big C Extra in Jungceylon, Phuket, in January 2026. I finally got around to drinking it in April of that year.

L: Pours a hazy, light golden orange. An initially fluffy, bright white head dissipates quickly to a thin but persistent covering. A few streams of large bubbles work their way lazily up the glass, giving it a relaxed, effervescent look.
Aroma

S: The nose is aggressively citrus-forward, dominated by a pungent lemon aroma that straddles the line between natural fruit and a confectionary vitamin tablet. For those unfamiliar with the Yuzu fruit, the scent can seem almost hyper-real and bordering on the artificial, but it is certainly bold and unmistakable.

T: That Yuzu/lemon note remains the lead singer here, but the Witbier backbone provides a solid "chorus." Bright, sparkly, and slightly punchy coriander notes work to integrate the citrus punch into the wheat base. However, toward the back of the palate, the flavour thins out significantly. This "watery" transition, combined with a very dry finish, reinforces that slight impression of an artificial citrus additive. Bitterness is mild and distinctly citric.

M: This beer has some serious kick. It is sharply carbonated, with a rasping, prickly sensation that lingers on the throat. Combined with the thinner body, it takes on a distinct soft-drink characteristic. It’s the kind of carbonation that would have prompted a loud, triumphant belch from an 18-year-old version of myself, who would have thought he was the funniest bloke in the world!

O: A pleasant, refreshing brew, though the Yuzu flavour carries a pungency that can feel slightly engineered to the uninitiated (ie., me!). It’s a summer-centric beer that I’d happily drink again if offered, though I likely wouldn't go out of my way to track down another bottle.

Cheers!
