Pours a very hazy yellow with bits of sediment and a medium white head that goes away quickly. Has a strong guava smell. That is sour with some tropical citrus notes.

Color is the color of apricot juice. Head was white and faded quickly. Nose is pungent, very pungent. Taste was one of the most sour beers I have had...on first taste then it mellows. Second taste was sour and metallic as was the nose.

16oz can, review from notes
Very pretty look, hazy with a long lasting sticky head. This is a very sour beer that is offset by the multiple added fruits, the guava being the most prominent. Enjoyed this in all aspects

Returning sour ale from the trends of smoothie, slushy and pastry and into the seldom seen world of... well... sourness, WarPigs establishes a tantalizingly tart ale with reinforced pasionfruit and pink guava for a session that's going to make your face stick that way.
Bouffant Jellyfish hits the glass with a glowing golden orange hue that diffuses through a yeasty haze. As its tall white froth builds on the rim, the strikingly sour scent of tropical fruit float above citrus, berry, cider and grape. Initial sips of sourdough, taffy and fructose tease the early palate with tepid sweetness.
As the acidity scrubs the sweetness from the middle palate, the fruits come flooding in with those tropical leading fruits of passionfruit and guava. The undercurrents of lime, lemon, crabapple, gooseberry and kiwi apply a natural sourness that keeps the fruit additions peppy, bright and racy. Finishing piquantly sour and nearly teeth-churning, this beer will definitely leave a sour taste in your mouth.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the beer finishes briskly acidic with a brief aftertaste of burlap and fruit peels lasting slightly beyond a vinously tart closing taste.

Pours out of the can a beautiful cloudy ochre color with a solid 2 fingers of head when poured initially rough. Pretty good retention as well. Smells like fresh guava and passionfruit as advertised, with the addition of mango perhaps. Tastes nice and pucker sour to begin with, but after a few sips it's bangin with all of its fruity notes in the nose. A nice full mouthfeel to top things off, it's really a fantastic beer.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Nobody tell Northernlion, such a creature would just freak him the hell out. Anyway, this stuff pours a mostly clear sunset brass-amber topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises passion fruit, lemon drops, light confectioner's sugar, light wet wheat, and a vague briney-ness pervading the background. The taste brings in more of the same, the tartness complemented by the addition of some melon (I assume this is the guava, but I'm not sure I've had guava before, so it's just kinda melon-y to me). The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, sticky finish. Overall, a nice bit of fruity sour, something I could see drinking a couple more of in this damn heat we've got going on right now.

Absolute guava bomb on the nose. It has a great, juicy fresh guava flavor rounded out by a touch of that trademark passionfruit fleshy sour. It has a real Hawaiian vibe to it. It's more tart than sour so this beer is really sessionable. Great beer.
