Appearance: Pours a clear, light to medium orange color with visible sediment floating in the glass. SRM of 10. (3.75)
Aroma: Mild aromas of lemon citrus, meyer lemon, lemon flower, grapefruit citrus with a hint of pineapple sweetness. (3.75)
Flavor: Tart and juicy flavors of lemon citrus, yuzu, grapefruit citrus, citrus rind and flower. Tart and juicy. The Yuzu citrus shines here. (3.25)
Feel: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. (3.50)
Compared to Surly Blast Beat 9/11/22: Pours similar, more sediment. More lemon and yuzu citrus. Less dank and tropical berry and tangerine. More tartness and citrus juice.
Overall: A tart, possible sour IPA. Lots of lemon citrus, sour citrus, Yuzu. Juicy, but not too sweet. Tart. Not usually a fan of this style. A bit too tart for my liking, but I'm sure many people can appreciate this one. (Rating: 3.48)
