Housed in the corner of a white, block long industrial building, the tap room is open and fairly large. Seating spreads out in an L around a bar of similar shape. For the space, there aren't a ton of tables, leaving room for standing and socializing with a beer. There is an alley to the side where we were able to enjoy beers outside on our first visit, though I couldn't tell if that was available on out second visit, since there was a food truck in the one exit-way.

Service was casual and friendly and fairly prompt. Our first visit we went up to the order line, which was pretty efficient on a moderately busy weekend day. Our second visit, we were there in the early afternoon and sat at the bar when it wasn't very busy. The staff was slightly distracted finding things to do between orders; we weren't in any hurry and didn't have an empty glass for more than a minute, but a slight nitpick that they weren't very proactive and I can't say whether it is normal or not.

I happen to really like their beers, and they have a variety of styles on the board. There are a few more lagers and classic styles than you might see in most breweries, but there were also a couple IPAs / pale ales and a sour or two. There hasn't been many higher ABV offerings in the times we've gone, and looking at the limited beers on this site as of this posting, it doesn't seem they make many. Even still, this is a place I will look to visit any time I am in the area.

visited on a Friday night for a couple rounds of drinks. in an old industrial type building but it's got some character. nice bar, and there are tables in the L shaped space. there is an overhead door that opens up into an outdoor space between the next building, they have some outdoor seating and there is a food truck parked out there tonight. Good selection of a dozen draft beers - pilsner, vienna lager, helles lager, schwarzbier, festbier, marzen, pale ale, witbier, IPA, WCIPA, NE IPA, DIPA. I had pints of the Helles and Marzen which were both pretty good. a majority of the beers were also available in 4 packs of can to-go.

Von C is a surprisingly large place with a modern "retro" industrial feel and a small outdoor area. The floor is concrete and the walls are painted white and black but with patches of the brick showing through the upper white area. There's a large mural of the long gone Schmidt's brewery in Philadelphia to the right of the large bar. Behind the bar is the brewhouse, and beyond that the fermenters. It's got an open and airy feel.

There are a fair amount of beers available with a good range: pale ale, IPA, NEIPA, double IPA, Pilsner, American adjunct lager, Munich helles, sour, Belgians, etc. Everything that I've has been very good and I think the their Stony Creek IPA is a great go-to IPA.

There's no food but that doesn't bother me, and you can usually find a parking spot fairly close by although at times you might have to walk a bit.

The service is good, the staff is friendly, and if he's around the brewer/owner will probably give you a quick tour if you ask nicely.

Finally, the canned beers are reasonably priced and you should probably grab at least a mixed 4-pack if not more to go.
