Cardiac Espress is the afterthought of our non-barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout, Nightmare Fuel. We decided this beer's bitterness would be complemented heavily by some bourbon barrels and acted on that as soon as we could. Not only did this batch get the usual espresso addition, it also received a heaping load of locally roasted espresso beans during its final days in the barrel. We enjoyed the result of this and hope that you drink it fresh, just like your morning cup of coffee.
