I had this beer on-tap in a narrow glass at Élesztő in Budapest.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweetish malt and with a lemony/citrusy hop character that also has floral notes. Some might call it “soapy”, but I like it.
Taste: sweeter than the aroma, with a kind of toastiness as as well. It definitely comes across as more soapy than the aroma, but this is not too unusual in pale ales of this style.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and actually a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: a decent pale ale, but definitely with that kind of soapy thing going on.
