Medium gold body with a slight cloudiness; excellent carbonation; immensely dense and thick head, well-sculpted and sticky. Exquisite esters and phenols with a light malt aroma; banana and cloves and other ripe fruits. Nice wheat backbone with a rich, semi-sweet flavor; banana and cloves again; a trace of bitterness towards the finish. Heavy body; coarse and prickly; sticky; gently warm.

From what I gather (based on taste and smell and Google translation of the beer from the brewery's web site, this beer is best described as a weizenbock. And what a fine wheat bock it is! The appearance is pretty incredible and the aroma can be detected from long off. The taste and mouthfeel are classic German wheat beer!
