best by.... one year ago - 4/2019. oh well. earlier review said "peanuts". i was wondering how he arrived at that until i burped. bottle is cool! "original bavarian wheat beer with a distinctive flavor"..... for sure! it's not really too bad and i'll continue drinking until my head gets the better of me.... an Underberg certainly helped its cause but not quite enough....

Dark brown, light foam, abundant, even if not really compact.
The smell is caramel, roasted malt, and yeast, and even a light banana.
In the taste, a definite lactic character, that gives to this beer light, maybe too light for a dunkel. Maybe peanuts.
Light body, caramel aftertaste, with again lactic and peanuts.
Thirst-quenching, but maybe a little too light.
