Good bock as can be expected. Drinkability is high but doesn't excite the analyst. Looks were beautiful. Enourmosly fluffy head is special for such a high abv. Would order again.

Bottle: Poured a clear dark brown color bock with a nice thick foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of huge banana bread ester with quite nice with some caramel malt and some residual sugars also noticeable. Taste is an easily quaffable mix of banana bread ester with quite a bit of residual sugars and some caramelized malt also noticeable. Body is about average for style with strong carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I’m probably not a 100% objective as I really enjoy weizenbock but I thought this was a great example.

The appearance is lovely an amber to orange cloudy beer with thick creamy white head that lasts and does not just dissipate - perfect Urweisse in this sense.
The small is Banana bubblegum and grainy not much else that gives it away as a Bock.
The taste is not disappointing but not much different to a good Weissbier except some sharp spiceyness from the higher levels of ABV
The mouthfeel is creamy yet a bit prickly like any good Hefeweizen
