Purchased in St. Petersburg (where it's 3 times the cost of other Russian beers). A Russian microbrewer with much more character than the Baltika. Nice hoppy scent after a presentable pour. Slightly lighter than a regular pilsner. It does have a good pilsner malt profile, though slightly sweet. Well done Czech hop profile, too.

This review is based on the version consumed at the Moscow brewpub.
Comes out a cloudy light yellow with a fairly firm but small white head that leaves pretty decent lace down the glass. The nose is a very nice mix of malt and flowery hops. The mouth is prickly and tingly, with just a touch of sweet heaviness. The flavor is good, not great: sweet malt gradually gives way to a flowery, fruity sensation, chased in turn by just a touch of hops bitterness. The aftertaste is mild almost to the point of being non-descript. I wouldn't mind an evening's worth of this brew...
