I had this beer at the Tinkoff in Ekaterinburg, Russia. It was brewed on-site and served cold in a tall wezen-style class. The head was white and tight almost as if it was nitro-driven. The body was cloudy and gold, hence the name. The beer is easily on my top ten list due mainly to its drinkability which is 4.5/5. I left the 0.5 hoping that as I continue to travel and sample beers I'll find one more drinkable. I doubt that I will find one but there is always hope.

This review is based on the version I had at the Moscow brewpub.
Comes out a cloudy medium gold hue under a small off-white head that lingers longer than I had expected, leaving some lace traces down the glass. The nose is mildly malty, while the mouth is just a bit bubbly. The taste starts off as mild malt, chased by a touch of hops bitterness. That bitterness lingers into the aftertaste, but mild is the operative term here. This is a good one to start with, or to offer someone who is not a big fan of tasty beers.
