APPEARANCE: Clean, attractive amber wi th a sturdy head of bone-white bubbles. No lace.

NOSE: Subtle malty, caramel toffee and quite solid.

TASTE: Clean, not too sweet caramel malts and a hint of hops but mostly an earthy, easygoing, and perfectly enjoyable marzen. Very nice.

Don't remember this beer and the label doesn't look familiar so probably had on tap somewhere.

A great label with the devil stirring the mash, I would buy it just for that.

I poured a light amber yellow with a nice head that quickly bubbled down to a ring .
The aroma is subtle hoppiness.
The taste is malty, and reminds me of Black label. no disrespect intended.
I would like it to be a bit more flavorful but a fun beer for a party.

Another from the Costco beer advent calendar, which I've been happy with for 4 or 5 years now, although I do have favorite types (helles). The marzen is a big improvement after tasting a pils, but it's not helles quality. It goes down easily, nothing bad tasted, but it doesn't make me want to go find more of it. It's ok.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This nice little marzen pours a clear
light golden with a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin
dusty layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of subtle grains, honey
sweet malts, and subtle herbal hop notes. Flavors lightly exceed the
nose with a fine presentation of honey sweet malts, subtle light breaded malts,
and lightly balanced grassy and herbal hop notes. Mouth feel is light, smooth,
light carbonation, and a lightly sweet finish.

Overall, a nice brew and VERY happy to have had a chance to try a new German
brewery!

Cheers

Poured from the can it is a very clear pouring golden color. There's lots of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head is 2 finger, white, fluffy looking, and has decent retention. There's a bit of lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
Nose is very weak. I just get a very faint grain aroma on it.
There's more flavor than the nose let on. The main flavor is grain. I get a faint floral flavor as well as an earthy flavor right away. Slight bitterness on the backside.
Body is ok, somewhat lighter.
Interesting beer, but not one I'd get again.

Pours a bright golden withe white head. Not much in the shape of aroma. Not really any distinct aroma at all whatsoever. I hate to use this phrase, but it's "beer flavored beer" with a touch of white grape. Muted carb. It's fine, but not particularly outstanding either. Out of the can, it's just fine.

500ml can, tulip, expires March 2024.

Quick fizzing head over a light copper, like brass casings, beer. Light metallic aroma, toasted malt, leafy hop. Loads of toasty, biscuity, lightly caramelized malt with a hint of green, herbal hop and a very stout Hope bitterness. All is balanced. Light body, medium-high carbonation, for a refreshing and refined beer.
