Not retired!
.5L, best before 8/25/11.
Pours a shade darker than an average Helles, that is to say, a clear gold-yellow as opposed to yellow-gold. Thin head dissipates fast, leaving some lacing.
Noble hop funk on the nose. Earthy.
Flavor is German hoppy and cracker-grainy. Really light butter flavor, not too distracting. Very natural-tasting hop flavor. Focuses on spicy, leafy hops and clean, pale malt flavors. Quenching, with a swift finish and a soft, medium-carbonated mouthfeel.
No real flaws, but also nothing to write home about.

BB 19-04-06. Some white head and a pale golden beercollor. Nose is very malty and sweet. Not much bitterness to finish but overall quiet a clean beer. Very to the sweet side though and wonder how much fermentable there is still in this brew. Certainly quiet good vollbier as they call it but IMO litle to sweetmalty and further pale.
