Cohesion Brewing

Pours a golden honey color with a light haze to the transparency. Head is two fingers of snow white foam with great retention. Aroma is lead by raw grain and straw with light citrus hops just behind. It's really settled out by malt notes of crackers, wafers, and nuts. Flavor profile is more malt forward, with crackers, wafers, nuts, and biscuits leading it off. Citrus hops balance right on the end, bringing the seesaw to a balance right at the conclusion. It's only marred by a worty taste that carries heavy raw grain notes. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. It's creamy smooth at the start with a watery finish. There is some underlying sandpaper, gritty texture in the first two thirds of the texture. Overall, raw grain notes really distract from an otherwise novel Czech lager.
