collaboration with monday night, who i know much more for epic wild beers than i do for things like this, but this is cool anyway, a flavor packed lager at any abv, amazing its as low there as it is, drinks completely full character, double decoction of course helps with maximum grain personality, and that has certainly been achieved in this, and like so many cohesion beers, its about as good as this sort of thing gets in the states, heck even in the old world this is competitive at the very least, these guys are killing it and have a whole lot to be proud of! gorgeous on tap at cohesion with the several inches of their patented thick white head, awesome draft system here, ideal for this type of beer, and it sure fills a dimpled mug in a sexy way! golden beer with just less than perfect clarity and more body than anticipated at this strength. aroma of spicy noble hops, saaz in this, plenty of it, adds cool freshness and lift to an otherwise pale but very malty beer in both nose and taste. the grain is fresh, earthy, toasted, and hearty like cereal or even granola, off dry, the good stuff, floor malted, and it has a lot of flavor, i think more robust there than in the nose on the malt side anyway, bready without being too warm toned, and with a soft honey note, just fabulous balance, the hops are great with some back end bitterness too, and the lager yeast is timeless and perfect in here, the technical side of this is off the charts, right down to how its served. attention to detail is everything in beer like this, and its hard not to be blown away but what we have here, a stunning lager of the finest quality. i love the patience this demands to be consumed with, but also its volume potential, i love the bubbles and the structure it has for being so low alcohol, and i love the bite the hops bring. really splendid stuff, cannot recommend highly enough!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
