another downright banger from cohesion, this one nice and low alcohol, using a special malt, and being infinitely drinkable, floral and springy, a nice contrast to the deeply autumnal weather we had while visiting this awesome brewery. majorly blonde, super super light looking, to the extent that the aroma and flavor surprise me in that they are so full character, almost less than yellow in the glass, big creamy proper head on this, pure white and lasting, lovely to drink through on each pull, fantastic carbonation. aroma and flavor do the same thing, cut flowers, lightly citrusy hops, crackery crispness, lovely balance, deep minerality, light biscuit, clover and daffodil, and there is something just positively uplifting about smelling this and drinking it, it has a purity, an honesty, and a simplicity that come together to make it feel more special than just about any beer ive ever had in this style space, which seems impossible but its true, just a joy to be around, like a good friend. beautiful hops at the end, light but anything but boring, fluffy feeling and excited, dry and quick, refreshing even, a wonderful morning beer, wonderful beer overall really, and i think cohesion, much as they are getting some hype, really are becoming one of the most relevant lager makers anywhere, this is astoundingly good, but they all are here, which is just incredible. artisan bread, seeded crackers, high end green tea, masterful lagering, almost a whipped texture. elite.
