Pours a bright light gold. Hazy. Moderate head with decent retention. Light lacing as the beer is consumed.
The expectations one has from a Citra IPA hit the nose in lovely fashion. Broad array of citrus notes, a little honeydew.
The taste follows. Grapefruit, tangerine, melon. A slightly bitter finish. Nice.
The beer is a tad thin for style. It isn’t off-putting, but is noticeable.
Very enjoyable. I am definitely interested in trying more from Ayawan.
