to me the least impressive of the beers we drank in here, the hop profile is pleasant but this is kind of messy. its really dense and thick, dull and tired looking from the tap, a strange muted orange tone to it, and just a short and fast fading head. the nose and flavor deliver a nice mix of hops, citra the most obvious to my senses among them, but with a seemingly southern hemisphere vibe as well, pear and white wine grape in play, a little peachy sweetness, but there is also a little green onion thing on the back end and a touch of general greenness to it, not overdosed or harsh, but vegetal as part of the hop complexion. the grain is a little sweet, very chewy with the sediment in it, and without as much flavor as it seems like this much body should have, maybe a touch of oxidation setting in as well, and its palate coating in a way that slows this down, more refinement needed. furthermore, the yeast doesnt totally flatter these flavors the way it does in their blonde and stout, so a little disjointed overall. hopefully a work in progress, fine job with the hops, the rest of this needs some tweaks...
