Copenhagen 31/3 2022. 44 cl can from Dammbergs Ølmagasin, Kingosgade, Kbh. V. A hand holding a smartphone photographing a lush landscape instead of just enjoying the view.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of roastiness and a candy-like scent. Dark toasted malts, chocolate, toffee and sweet coconut.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Perfectly nice and sweet and somewhat harmless Porter.
