Copenhagen 4/8 2022. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. An astronaut standing in a cosmic fog looking at the good old blue Earth on the can.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam. Just covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense - a bit subdued. Sweet malts and ripe tropical fruits. Citric and floral notes. Mango and passion fruit. Grape fruit and citrus. Touch of perfume-. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a touch of perfume.
Solid DIPA with a restrained intensity and not too boozy.
