Thanks to the large rollup door being open on this pleasantly warm May afternoon at the taproom, the appearance here, much like the pils, is again chill hazed but otherwise clear, displaying a light amber with an off-white foam head of moderate height settling to a fine creamy film and curled ring leaving rolling microfiber hills of lace.

As balanced and unobtrusively palate cleansing as it gets, the medium body has a fine, firm carbonation that cuts right through any residual burger bits on your palate before vanishing in the swallow.

A slight touch of toastiness comes out up front upon second sip, along with a bit of orange rind or melon character. As it comes down in temperature, a little hint of catty dankness even emerges.

The carbonation is so soft, though...I can't get over it.
