Turbid brown with a thin khaki blanket.
Toasted pumpernickel meets a hint of gingerbread in the phenols that foster a mild chew before a little bite comes out in the semi-bitter finish. I also detect a touch of smoke as it warms.
It's almost fluid in that finish, overall highlighting the fact that it has a lighter body than you'd expect.
