Lightly foggy dark amber with a fairly short white head.
This has a slight minerality and a little phenolic spice to it, kind of like a Belgian pale ale, but milder, though also substantially biting of a sort of herbal bitterness.
It's been so long since I've had Anchor Steam it's really hard to gauge similarities or contrasts, but this seems like a solid entry.
